Book Coaching

I'm a critically acclaimed author, lifelong reader, and book coach, and I’m passionate about helping other authors find flow, joy, and abundance in realizing their creative visions. Reach out to me using this form to learn more.

I've sold five books to Big Five publishers, one of which is also in development for a series at a studio, and I am a full-time author. But even more fulfilling than selling my books is the unparalleled joy and energy my creativity brings me. I believe that everyone can access this abundant creative flow.

Coaching sessions with me blend both practical advice--everything I know about compelling storytelling and the ins and outs of the publishing industry--with the critical pieces that often get overlooked: guidance on how to flip your fears, dismantle the lack mindsets and unhelpful limiting beliefs that pervade creative realms, and reclaim the script as to what is possible from your creative pursuits. I truly believe there is no limit to what is possible with and from your creativity!

I work with writers at all stages, whether you are in the early phases of ideating and plotting out a book and desire guidance, or you have a full manuscript of which you are unsure how to get published, or you are somewhere in the middle and feeling stuck. Sessions are 60 minutes in length, with the option for me to provide verbal feedback on sample pages submitted before the session. To this work, I bring decades of study, practice, and experience in not only writing and publishing, but also in Vedic meditation, manifestation, somatic therapy, breathwork, inner-voice work, nervous system regulation, and coaching. Clients report leaving our sessions having grown as writers and storytellers and also with greater self-belief, faith, and optimism in their creative journeys.

"Jaclyn not only supported me throughout my book writing process with her practical wisdom and real life experience, but she also provided a deeper layer of guidance on what it truly takes to write a book. She stood by me through the ups and downs, the stops and starts, gently addressing my fears and helping quiet them. She celebrated the small wins along the way and taught me to deeply listen to my own inner knowing. What I especially appreciate about Jaclyn is her ability to always ground me back in the joy and fun of the process, even when things felt anything but joyful. Her unique perspective on creativity and the writing process, especially with her knowledge of traditional book publishing, combined with her commitment to walking her own path, is both inspiring and empowering. If you're seeking a coach who meets you where you are and helps you navigate the creative journey with joy and ease, Jaclyn is someone I highly recommend!" --Zo Flamenbaum

"Jaclyn's coaching is generous, pointed and encouraging. I have been fortunate to have worked with Jaclyn as my editor too, and her story editing was completely invaluable to my manuscript turning out as clean and as sharp as it did. It was like she turned the light-bulb on in my brain that I couldn't find myself. Her knowledge of the publishing world is vast and expansive, and I have yet to confront her with a question she could not answer. If you have a story to tell but you need help structuring your plot or developing your characters or understanding where your story tension should be, I cannot recommend consulting with Jaclyn enough!" --Daniella Hoffman-Zeloof
